Living Room Renovation
These are before and after photos of a Living Room renovation. The goal of this project was to update the room, make it brighter, and give it a modern feel that flowed with the family room directly behind it that was recently redone. The clients wanted to keep some of their existing furniture and decorative items, so I worked around those and we selected a new couch and chairs, removed the carpet and replaced it with a custom size area rug. Crown molding was added to match the adjacent Family Room, and the wood paneled wall was refinished. The finished product was a beautiful room. This was one of my favorite projects, and was one of the first things I worked on after I moved back to Pittsburgh.

Rearrange and Organize Living Room
These clients had recently moved into a new apartment and needed help with the arrangement of furniture pieces and decor in their Entryway and Living Room, as well as organizational assistance. No items were purchased for this, however I did bring in a few additional pieces from other rooms to complete the look. This was done in approximately 5 hours, and is a flat fee service that I offer to clients who are looking for a new look without actually purchasing anything new.

Basement Apartment Revival
This client had an unused basement area that was basically a storage area/drop zone. The goal was to be able to actually sit in this room and use it, and also to go through and organize items, as well as create donation piles and trash piles. This was another 5 hour flip project.

3rd Floor Attic Space
This client would like to utilize her finished 3rd floor as a lounge rather than a storage space. This is in progress and I have started the initial organization and removal of certain items.

Basement/Playroom Organization
This client needed assistance in organizing all of their child's toys, while simultaneously creating a space that could be used by adults. I consolidated, labeled and organized the toys and put them in bins that were already at the house, and kept some of the larger toys in the main room. The toy chest became the coffee table and I rearranged most of the furniture. This was done over the course of 2 days.

Dressing Room Organization
This client needed help organizing the closets and shelves in her dressing room. I grouped items together by category and color, and removed items from the room such as glasses and dishes, which were relocated to the kitchen.

Murphy Bed Installation
This project was the installation of a Murphy Bed wall unit in a small studio apartment. The bed was attached to the far end of the wall originally, so I had it removed, centered it, and hired a contractor to custom-build a wall unit around it. I then sanded and painted it, and that was the last time I used a power sander. I hate sanding and will happily pay someone to do that in the future.

Antique Frame Install for Modern Condo
This project focused on mixing new and old styles. Personal photos of the owners were later included as a finishing touch (where the blank frames are shown below).

Inspiration Project
This project involved bringing to life a photo found by the owner. I selected tile and paint that emulated the photo, painted a mirror found at Goodwill, and utilized artwork that the owner had previously purchased.

Stairwell and Bathroom
This client had a group of old family photos that she wanted in her stairwell, which were integrated with other vintage artwork from her collection. Additionally, a grouping of old black and white photos were installed on one wall of the bathroom, which offset the dark pink ceiling and light pink tile.

Nursery Mural
This project shows the preparation of a nursery that was previously a small bedroom. I painted, assembled furniture and applied the wall mural stickers. That crib almost got thrown out the window during the assembly. It was an exercise in patience.

Outdoor Spaces
Patio Transformations
Below are several different patios that were rearranged with existing furniture. The bottom row of photos shows steps during the enclosure of a patio with the construction of a brick wall for privacy from the neighbors. The brick was carefully selected to match the existing carriage house. The brick arrived on pallets, which were delivered and placed directly outside of the gate that goes to the patio. We were all excited about that.

Holiday Decorations
Vignettes of Gift wrapping and Decorations
Below are several holiday displays that I set up, in addition to gift wrapping, table centerpieces and trees.
